Men’s Winter Yoga Retreat at Waterperry House
Two nights in an Oxfordshire country house with Alan Dedman and Craig Williams, sharing Hatha yoga, meditation, breathing practices and vegetarian meals.
Why it caught our eye
The two teachers share movement and quieter practice across the weekend. A historic house, communal dining and time outside give the group places to meet beyond the yoga mat.
About this experience
Make space for reflection before the festive season in the rooms and gardens of Waterperry House. Alan Dedman and Craig Williams bring a gentle, down-to-earth approach to this men’s yoga weekend, with room for beginners as well as those with some experience.
What you can expect
Friday begins with a welcome, icebreakers and an hour of yoga before dinner. Craig guides pranayama breathing practices and morning and evening meditation; Alan and Craig also teach postures, chanting and pair or group work. Saturday leaves time for walks or rest, with an optional local outing depending on interest and weather. Sunday brings more practice, a talk on men’s health, lunch and a closing conversation. Yoga metaphysics is another discussion topic. Days generally run from seven in the morning to nine in the evening, with the order open to change.
