Yoga, Breathwork & Reflection Retreat in Olst
A Dutch-language countryside weekend balancing yoga, breathwork, reflection and generous time to rest.
Why it caught our eye
We like how deliberately unhurried this retreat feels. The programme has a clear three-day arc, yet guests are trusted to rest or take a walk when that is what they need, and the sibling hosts bring complementary yoga, NLP and breathwork experience.
About this experience
Step away for three days at Hoeve Wetermans in the IJssel valley, where siblings Max and Lola Berkelmans combine yoga, breathwork and guided reflection. The small-group weekend moves from connection to insight and direction, with vegetarian meals, two nights at the farmhouse and room to walk, read or simply pause.
What you can expect
Friday begins with arrival, introductions, dinner and evening yoga. Saturday pairs morning yoga with group reflection and a longer breathwork session, leaving free time before an easy evening around the fire, with yoga or games. Sunday brings guided visualisation, breathwork and a closing circle before departure.
Good to know before you go
The retreat is conducted entirely in Dutch and welcomes adults aged 18 and over. No previous yoga or breathwork experience is needed, and exercises can be adapted when physical limitations are shared in advance. Two nights, vegetarian meals, sessions, drinks, a course manual and parking are included; bring your own single-bed linen and towels. The group is capped at 18 including the hosts and cook.
