Kundalini Yoga Ashram Stay in Portugal
Five days living within an active ashram near Sintra, with Kundalini yoga, meditation, pranayama, kirtan, organic meals and forest walks.
Why it caught our eye
This is an immersive stay inside a practising community, well suited to visitors who want the rhythm and simplicity of ashram life rather than a hotel-style retreat.
What you can expect
Four nights at a working ashram, with three plant-based meals each day. Morning sadhana combines sacred-text reading, Kundalini exercises, relaxation, mantra meditation and prayer. The weekly rhythm includes two afternoon Kundalini classes, evening chanting and optional service in the kitchen, garden or house.
Good to know before you go
