New Year Yoga & Hiking Retreat in Sierra Espuña
Six days in Murcia’s Sierra Espuña with Hatha and Restorative yoga, meditation, two guided hikes and a small-group New Year programme.
Why it caught our eye
We like the grounded rhythm and strong sense of place: yoga at the mountain-side shala, two guided hikes and simple New Year rituals beneath open skies. The small-group format keeps the week personal without turning every hour into a scheduled activity.
About this experience
See in 2027 at Rustic Retreats, an off-grid eco centre in the Sierra Espuña mountains outside Totana. The six-day stay pairs energising morning Hatha with slower evening Restorative yoga and meditation, leaving generous space for mountain air, shared meals and quiet time.
What you can expect
The programme includes five nights, three vegetarian or vegan meals a day, daily yoga and meditation, themed workshops, two guided hikes, a barbecue lunch in the mountains, a New Year fire ceremony, ecstatic dance, an aerial-yoga taster and a sound bath. Activities are optional and the timetable may shift with the group and conditions.
