Matthias Flury
A Map for Compassionate Communication
An online introduction to Nonviolent Communication with guided reflection, empathic listening and space for questions.
Why it caught our eye
The session makes the four NVC steps approachable while leaving room to explore the needs, choices and relationships underneath a conflict.
What you can expect
You will look at authentic expression, listening to another person and connecting with your own experience. The workshop then explores observation, feeling, need and request, including the difference between needs and strategies and between a request and a demand. Most of the session is explanatory, with a little guided practice and an optional open Q&A afterwards.
Good to know before you go
The workshop takes place online on 15 October 2026 from 19:00 to 21:00 Europe/Zurich; the call remains open afterwards for optional questions and discussion. Theory is in English, while practice and group sharing can be in English or German. No previous NVC experience is required. The sliding price is EUR 10–30, with EUR 20 suggested. If cost is a barrier, the organiser invites you to propose another contribution in the registration form. The meeting link is sent after registration.
What this is
Matthias Flury introduces Nonviolent Communication as a practical map for meeting conflict without forcing agreement or change. The online workshop combines explanation with a short guided meditation and an empathic-listening exercise.
