Mindfulness in Everyday Life in St. Gallen
Explore sitting meditation, body awareness, mindful walking and gentle yoga in a three-evening course with mindfulness teacher Michaël Gnehm.
Why it caught our eye
Short exercises offer several ways into mindfulness, from sitting still to walking and moving. Returning as a group lets you develop the practice across the course rather than treating each evening as a separate introduction.
About this experience
What happens when you give an ordinary moment your full attention? Recovery College St.Gallen offers a gradual introduction to mindfulness, using short practices to explore how you notice the body, movement and everyday experience.
What you can expect
Across three evenings that build on one another, practise sitting meditation, a body scan, walking meditation and mindful yoga. A body scan means bringing attention to different parts of the body in turn. Michaël Gnehm, a mindfulness and MBSR teacher, leads the course, with time for theory and questions alongside practice.
Good to know before you go
Book the whole three-evening course through the organiser’s registration form. Fees are CHF10 Basic for people with limited means, CHF45 Regular for private participants, and CHF110 Pro for professional development. Bring a mat, sitting cushion and comfortable clothes; warm socks and a blanket may be useful. Register by 10 November 2026.
