Anger, Boundaries and Safety Retreat on Gabriola Island
A four-day experiential retreat on Gabriola Island exploring non-violent anger, boundaries and relationship tools.
Why it caught our eye
The programme makes an important distinction between anger and violence, then gives that distinction a careful, practical structure across four days.
About this experience
Explore anger as a natural emotion without confusing it with violence. Led by Greg Gurel at The Haven on Gabriola Island, this four-day experiential programme moves from beliefs and personal patterns into practical ways of expressing anger with clearer boundaries. You will both witness and try individual and relational exercises in a facilitated group setting.
What you can expect
The retreat begins with dinner at 17:45 and an opening session at 19:00. Full days include morning, afternoon and evening sessions, with meals between them; the final day ends after lunch. The work is experiential and may involve expressing and witnessing strong emotion in a group.
Good to know before you go
Current early-bird totals start at CAD 960 for off-site accommodation and range to CAD 1,560 for a private queen room; the visible CAD 60 discount runs until 29 October. On-site shared and private rooms are available, and foot passengers can request a shuttle from the Gabriola ferry. Review the organiser’s cancellation terms and contact The Haven if you have questions about the emotional intensity or suitability of the programme.
