Day of the Ancestors: Cacao and Sacred Sound
Remember those who came before through a shared altar, flower mandala, ceremonial cacao and sacred songs in London.
Why it caught our eye
The shared altar and flower mandala give remembrance a tangible expression alongside the cacao, songs and storytelling.
About this experience
Bring a photograph, flowers or a memory of someone you wish to honour. Dr. Magdalena Baciu gathers this Day of the Ancestors ceremony around remembrance, forgiveness and the relationships that connect generations. Together, participants create an altar and a flower mandala, an arrangement of flowers used as part of the ritual. Ceremonial cacao, prayer, sacred songs, sound and storytelling form the practice. Magdalena presents these within her spiritual tradition; no previous ceremony experience is needed.
What you can expect
