Meditation & Inner WorkWorkshop·Ressource Mindfulness / Espace Plantaporrêts, Genève

First Steps in Mindfulness with Maria Romero

An introductory day in Geneva with guided meditation, practical explanations and group discussion, led by mindfulness teacher Maria Romero.

Why it caught our eye

This is a full day to try mindfulness with a teacher and a group. Its secular approach and lack of prerequisites make the format approachable, while the focus on daily life gives the exercises a clear context beyond the workshop.

What you can expect

Maria Romero leads the workshop. Explore several guided meditation practices, learn about the principles behind mindfulness and discuss your experience with the group. The day moves between practical exercises and explanations, with an emphasis on bringing attention into ordinary daily activities. No previous experience is needed. Suitable for people discovering mindfulness, building on a first introduction or returning to practice. The organiser provides the event information and registration form in French. The approach is secular and does not require a spiritual commitment.
