Calm Within: Breathwork and Sound at Beckenham Place Mansion

Breath, listening and a little time to reflect sit naturally together here. The 2-hour gathering leaves room for refreshments and reflection after the practices, in a distinctive park setting with clear arrival information.

Give yourself an afternoon with a quieter rhythm. Kathleen and Clare bring gentle breathwork and a sound bath together in the Georgian rooms of Beckenham Place Mansion, surrounded by the park. Calm Within invites you to pause, notice your breath and settle into listening. The sound journey uses Alchemy crystal singing bowls. Rather than something to perform or master, this is an invitation to soften your pace and explore how breath and sound feel to you. No previous experience is needed.

Kathleen and Clare guide gentle breathwork followed by an immersive crystal singing bowl sound bath. Refreshments and reflection bring the gathering to a close. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat and water. A blanket, cushion and eye pillow are optional comforts for resting during the sound journey.

For ages 16+. Tickets range from GBP 33 to GBP 70; check the available option when booking. Sales close on 15 November 2026 at 12:30 local time; doors open at 13:15. There are no refunds. The venue is Beckenham Place Mansion, Beckenham Place Park, Beckenham BR3 1SY. Beckenham Junction, New Beckenham and Lower Sydenham stations are about a 15-minute walk from the park. Parking in the park is paid; the host also notes free parking in nearby streets. The hosts ask you to avoid attending or consult your doctor first if you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, serious mental health challenges such as psychosis, a pacemaker or metal implants, tinnitus or sound sensitivity, or recent surgery or injury, or if you are pregnant, particularly in the first trimester.
