Descent Into Samhain: Yin and Yoga Nidra
A seasonal workshop with Jane Feighery, moving from long-held Yin postures into guided rest with mantra and sound.
Why it caught our eye
The progression from held postures to guided rest gives the seasonal theme a clear physical rhythm. Reflection is built into the practice rather than added as a separate talk.
What you can expect
Begin with an extended Yin practice, holding floor-based postures with time for stillness and reflection. The session gradually moves into Yoga Nidra, a guided resting practice, with mantra and sound woven through the experience.
Good to know before you go
The 2-hour workshop costs EUR 50 and takes place at Segotia, 3 Ardee Road, Rathmines, Dublin. Check the booking page for availability. Ask the organiser about access needs, suitable adaptations, what to bring and cancellation terms before booking.
What this is
Jane Feighery uses the seasonal turning point of Samhain as a theme for slowing down and reflecting on what you are ready to leave behind. The practice moves from floor-based Yin Yoga into Yoga Nidra, with intention-setting, mantra and sound.
