Die Wildnis Zuhause: Alpine wildlife with Levi Fitze in Winterthur
Photographs and field stories from the Swiss Alps, with wildlife photographer Levi Fitze at gate27.
Why it caught our eye
The photographs open a window onto nearby wildlife, while Levi’s field stories reveal the time and attention each image takes.
About this experience
Take a seat for an evening with the wild neighbours of the Swiss Alps. Photographer Levi Fitze shares images of lynx, wolves, stoats and grouse, alongside the patient work and unexpected encounters behind his photographs. This Explora live show takes place at gate27 in Winterthur.
What you can expect
Levi follows animals through steep terrain, changing weather and long waits for a fleeting moment. His stories look at how Alpine wildlife survives difficult conditions, from changing coat colour to hibernation. The talk also traces his beginnings with a camera and the photographs that grew from spending time outdoors.
