The Wild at Home in Bern: Alpine Nature Photography Live

A Bern live photographic journey into the Swiss Alps with Levi Fitze and the animals that thrive in demanding mountain habitats.

Why it caught our eye

For Bern audiences, this is a thoughtful meeting of beautiful wildlife photography, patient observation and care for the landscapes on our doorstep. The stories behind the images make alpine ecology feel immediate without losing the wonder.

About this experience

In Bern, see the Swiss Alps through the patient eye of wildlife photographer Levi Fitze. This live multimedia talk brings close encounters with lynx, wolves, stoats, grouse, ibex and golden eagles, alongside the long waits, failed attempts and field knowledge behind each image.

What you can expect

Levi Fitze presents photographs, film and field stories from the Swiss Alps in German. The Bern performances take place in the Aula Freies Gymnasium; doors open 45 minutes before each session, and the live report runs about two hours including an interval.
