Drawing on the Ancestors
Two hours online with guided meditation, contemplation and journaling on the people and stories that shaped you.
Why it caught our eye
A clear, seasonal structure brings meditation, reflection and journaling together, with sharing offered as an option. The gathering welcomes people of any faith or none.
About this experience
Set in the season of Samhain and All Saints’ and All Souls’ observances, this gathering invites you to reflect on those who came before you. Anna Robinson includes family by birth or adoption, chosen kin, spiritual and religious traditions, science, and people whose lives continue to inspire you.
What you can expect
Begin with a welcome and mindfulness exercise, then move into guided meditation and journaling prompts. There is an optional, time-limited sharing round. You can also book the recording and take part in your own time.
Good to know before you go
Bring a notebook and pen, a drink, and a blanket or slippers; a candle is optional. The suggested donation is £20, and you can pay what you can. A recording is included with the booking. Beginners are welcome; the event is LGBTQ+ inclusive.
