Ecstatic Dance with ANIKETA in Bern

Let the music suggest your next movement. ANIKETA leads this two-hour Ecstatic Dance evening in Bern, weaving different genres into a set that moves between fiery and gentle moods. Ecstatic Dance is an invitation to explore movement in your own way, alone or alongside others, without spoken conversation on the dance floor.

A guided warm-up leads into free dance. ANIKETA draws on more than two decades of dancing that began with 5Rhythms, a movement practice exploring different rhythmic qualities. The organiser welcomes people regardless of age, belief, race, gender or sexual orientation.

Tickets are available at the door: CHF 30 regular, CHF 25 for students up to age 30, or CHF 35 to support the organisers. Doors open and music begins half an hour before the guided warm-up. Dance without shoes; this is a substance-free space with no talking on the dance floor.
