Ecstatic dance with Joël in Lausanne

The evening gives free movement a clear beginning and ending: time to warm up, an extended stretch of dance, then a circle to close together.

Let the music be your starting point. Joël invites you to an evening of ecstatic dance in Lausanne: a free movement practice where each person follows their own way of dancing, alone, in pairs or alongside others.

A warm-up opens the evening, followed by the main dance with Joël and a closing circle. There is no fixed way to move; the invitation is to follow the music and explore your own movement. The dance is barefoot and alcohol-free.

Bring loose, light clothing and water. Reception opens 15 minutes before the dance so you can change. Standard admission is CHF 30; students, AVS/AI recipients, unemployed people and those requesting a concession pay CHF 25. Pay online via the organiser’s ticket link, or with cash or Twint on arrival. Yellow parking spaces are in front of and beside the hall; nearby bus stops are Prélaz les roses and Couchirard.
