Dance with the Shadow: Halloween Ecstatic Dance
A playful Halloween evening of free movement, music and connection, with an opening circle and time to settle afterwards.
Why it caught our eye
The warm-up before the main dance gives you time to arrive and ease into moving with others. The Halloween theme can be a playful way to try a different side of yourself, without needing to perform or dress up.
What you can expect
An opening circle and playful warm-up lead into free movement to DJ Psysoul’s music. Alice and András may offer a short sound session before the closing circle and time to share.
Good to know before you go
Doors open at 19:10; the opening circle starts at 19:30. The evening ends at 22:00. Bring comfortable clothes, a water bottle and your own cup. The dance floor is alcohol free, phone free and quiet. Dance barefoot or in dance shoes. Early-bird tickets are CHF 25; regular tickets CHF 29; late tickets CHF 35. A limited first-time offer is CHF 19, valid once per person. A two-person ticket is CHF 49. Tickets at the door cost the late-ticket price plus CHF 10, payable by cash or TWINT.
What this is
Halloween gives this Ecstatic Dance evening a playful theme: meeting the parts of yourself you usually keep in the background. Ecstatic Dance means moving freely to music rather than following a routine, so you can join without knowing any steps. Yanantin Tribe begins with an opening circle and warm-up exercises before the dance with DJ Psysoul. A short sound session with Alice and András may follow, then a closing circle. Costumes are encouraged, but you are equally welcome in comfortable everyday clothes.
