Ecstatic Dance Zürich with ATEMA

A clearly defined free-form dance format brings a guest DJ and a local host together for one evening. Its published guidelines and separate general and concession prices make the practical expectations clear.

Janis Schnyder (ATEMA) provides the DJ set, with Johanna Anela Köb as host. The organizer describes a gently guided introduction to free-form dance and a closing sound session or grounding group activity. No fixed steps or performance are expected. This is suitable for first-time and experienced dancers who are comfortable with non-verbal, substance-free movement. Thursday 15 October 2026, 19:30–22:00, with doors at 19:00. Kirchgemeindehaus Oberstrass, Winterthurerstrasse 25, 8006 Zürich. This ticket covers this one evening.

The standard ticket costs CHF 33. The CHF 25 rate is restricted to students and Legi holders; it is not the general admission price. Both displayed prices include taxes and mandatory service costs. Eventfrog ticket insurance is optional and can be removed at checkout. Online ticket sales are scheduled to close at 22:00 on 15 October, at the end of the event; no earlier registration deadline is stated. Bring a water bottle and comfortable clothes. Dancing is without shoes or conversation; alcohol and other drugs are excluded. The organizer welcomes children only at daytime events, so this evening is not a children’s event. The venue lists its hall as wheelchair accessible. Times are Europe/Zurich, CEST (UTC+2). The event information is in English, but the language of spoken guidance is not explicitly confirmed. The dance itself is non-verbal.

Ecstatic Dance Zurich hosts an evening of movement and music with guest DJ ATEMA, also known as Janis Schnyder. Johanna Anela Köb and the Ecstatic Dance Zurich team welcome the group at Kirchgemeindehaus Oberstrass. The format centres on individual movement rather than choreography, in a dance space without conversation, alcohol or other drugs. No previous dance experience is needed.
