Ecstatic Dance in Zürich Altstetten
A twice-monthly guided free-dance evening in Zürich with DJ Kraftschatz, a live acoustic closing by Barbara Intivida and no steps to learn.
Barbara INTIVIDA via Eventfrog; separate reuse licence not stated.
Why it caught our eye
The evening makes free-form dance approachable: the source explicitly says no prior experience is needed, begins with an introduction and closes with acoustic music and shared singing.
What you can expect
After the doors open, the group settles in with gentle prompts, a DJ journey by Kraftschatz, acoustic heart music from Barbara Intivida and a closing circle.
Good to know before you go
Tickets are CHF 30, 35 or 40 through Eventfrog or at the door. Sessions take place at DanceSquare22, Max-Högger-Strasse 2 in Zürich. Wear comfortable dance clothes and bring water.
What this is
Ecstatic Dance at DanceSquare22 is a moving meditation shaped by gentle arrival prompts, a musical journey from quiet to powerful, and a shared closing circle. Participants can move freely without choreography or performance pressure.
