Embody Wellness: A Day of Movement and Community in London
Explore Pilates, breathwork and a wellness market celebrating Black-owned businesses at The Exchange.
Why it caught our eye
There is room to make a day of it or simply visit the market. Bringing movement, quieter practices and local businesses into one community space gives different ways to join in.
About this experience
Drop into The Exchange for a day centred on Black health, wellness and community. Movement sessions sit alongside a documentary screening and a market of independent Black-owned businesses, with everyone welcome.
What you can expect
The published agenda includes Pilates from 11:30 to 12:15 and a mobility class from 12:30 to 13:15 with Just Josie Fitness, followed by breathwork from 13:30 to 14:00. The wider programme also advertises soundbaths and market stalls.
Good to know before you go
General admission is listed as free; check the booking page for individual class places and any class-specific terms. You do not need to book a class to visit the market. The event champions Black health and Black-owned businesses and is open to everyone. The venue is the basement property at 61 Elgin Avenue, London W9 2DB.
