Inner Empowerment: Somatic Dance for Women in Munich

The journey begins gently and leaves space for expression: quiet body awareness, guided movement and a closing circle belong to the same experience. Its explicit welcome to beginners and women from different backgrounds gives the invitation a clear, inclusive shape.

Let movement become a way of listening to yourself. Sarah’s Inner Empowerment workshop invites you out of the busy thinking mind and into sensation, breath and expression. This month’s theme, Release & Reconnect to Yourself, makes room to reflect on what you are ready to let go of as the year draws to a close. Somatic movement means paying attention to your experience from within. Here, intuitive dance draws on kinesiology and Latin, Afro and Oriental rhythms, with no performance to prepare and no steps you need to know. You are welcome to move at your own pace, whether this is your first workshop or a practice you already enjoy.

Across 90 minutes, arrive with meditation, breath and body awareness, then explore guided movements inspired by kinesiology and world rhythms. A somatic flow brings movement, shaking, breathing and voice together before a closing circle for integration. Sarah describes herself as a somatic coach and kinesiologist; the emphasis is exploration without pressure or performance.

For adults aged 18+, open to all women and anyone who identifies as a woman, across cultures, religions and backgrounds. Bring comfortable shoes and clothes, a sweater and water; no mat is needed. Arrive ten minutes early. The ground-floor room is in the Werksviertel-Mitte containers at Atelierstraße 4, 81671 München, beneath Transit Rooftop & Bar, with green ALM lettering on the glass.
