Festival della Gentilezza 2026: Distretti Gentili in Milan
An Italian-language afternoon of dialogue on building more connected, inclusive neighbourhoods in Milan.
Why it caught our eye
This festival brings kindness into civic life, exploring how relationships, shared spaces and participation can help neighbours feel less isolated and more connected.
About this experience
What helps a neighbourhood feel like a community? The fifth Festival della Gentilezza explores that question through the theme Distretti Gentili: gentler districts shaped by welcome, inclusion and care. Conversations connect neighbourhood life with kind AI, education, younger generations, the environment and social responsibility. The official programme makes room for dialogue, encounters, an intergenerational reading and an aperitivo.
What you can expect
The programme opens with a welcome and introduction, then moves through five conversations on neighbourhood community, kind AI, schools, caring communities and young people’s ideas for the future. It also includes a coffee and networking break with a piano guest, a kindness recognition, partner introductions, an intergenerational reading and an aperitivo.
Good to know before you go
In person at Spazio Culturale SC3 Milano (GentiLAB), Via Scutari 3, 20127 Milano. Eventbrite reservations are free. The programme is in Italian.
