The mix of free movement and a shared opening and closing circle gives the evening a gentle frame without prescribing how you should dance.

There are no steps to learn at this conscious dance class with Giorgi Risse. You follow your own movement, supported by music mixed live and occasional guidance, in Fribourg’s Basse-ville.

Doors open fifteen minutes before the opening circle. Dancing starts ten minutes after the circle begins and lasts about an hour. A few minutes of silence and a closing circle make up the final ten minutes of the session.

Open from age 16, with no dance experience needed. Dance barefoot, without substances, talking or phones. The standard price is CHF 25, with CHF 20 reduced and CHF 30 supporter rates, paid on site. Reserve through the organiser’s form and choose the same date there.

  Giorgi Risse is a conscious-dance facilitator based in Switzerland. His first-party biography says he discovered conscious dance in 2015, later trained with freedomDANCE, taught in Moscow in 2019 and in Fribourg and Bern in 2020–2021, and returned with regular Fribourg classes in 2026.
