Volunteer with Your Trained Therapy Dog at Spital Linth

This role gives an existing therapy-dog qualification a practical community use. The hospital provides an introduction, staff support and opportunities for further learning.

Plan for around two to three hours a week visiting wards with your dog. Respond to each patient’s needs and coordinate closely with nursing and specialist staff. Reliability, patience and sensitivity are essential.

You and your dog must already hold a therapy-dog team qualification recognised in Switzerland. This is a volunteer placement, not a training course. Participation is free and expenses are reimbursed.
