Guided Hatha Yoga with Ilse in Fribourg
A slow, accessible Hatha class combining careful alignment, conscious breathing and a quiet final relaxation.
Why it caught our eye
The combination of precise alignment, adaptable pacing and a genuine welcome for first-time participants makes this a thoughtful way to begin or deepen a Hatha practice.
What you can expect
Expect a guided sequence of postures with clear alignment cues, followed by breathing or meditation and a longer rest at the end. Mats and other practice equipment are available in the studio.
Good to know before you go
The studio is at Rue du Tilleul 7; use the entrance between numbers 7 and 9 and go to the top floor. New students can choose a CHF 25 discovery class, valid for one month. A CHF 35 single class is available on request, alongside membership options. Reserve through Momoyoga.
What this is
Ilse Bahnsen leads this small-group class at Lulo in Fribourg. The practice moves at an unhurried pace, with time to understand each posture and adapt it to your own body. Hatha and Iyengar-inspired alignment is woven together with mobility work, breath awareness and occasional meditation. Each session closes with deep relaxation. The changing monthly focus keeps the class useful both as a first introduction to yoga and as a steadier complement to an existing practice.
