Halloween Oracle Card Art Workshop
A two-day painting workshop in Harbor City for creating six to eight Halloween-themed oracle cards through imagery, symbolism and intuitive storytelling.
Puan-J (Rev. Deb) Tomiyasu-Sams via Eventbrite; creator and reuse licence not stated.
Why it caught our eye
We like the concrete making process: participants leave with a small set of cards they designed themselves, while the symbolism and storytelling prompts make room for reflection without promising a particular outcome.
What you can expect
Each day follows a 6-hour studio rhythm with guided image-making, symbolism, affirmation writing and intuitive storytelling. Art materials and snacks are included, with a midday break. An optional group lunch costs an additional USD 20.
Good to know before you go
The USD 75 ticket covers both consecutive studio days. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event. Under-18s must attend with a parent or legal guardian, and free parking is listed. Eventbrite publishes 1065 Lomita Blvd., Space 416, while the organiser FAQ says the location is supplied after paid registration; check the booking confirmation before travelling.
What this is
Intentional Creativity teacher Debra (Puan-J) Tomiyasu-Sams guides this hands-on process of turning personal ideas into a small oracle deck. Across two studio days, participants paint, explore their own symbolic language, write affirmations and develop visual stories. The emphasis is on creative exploration and personal reflection rather than artistic polish.
