How to Meditate: Mindfulness and Loving-Kindness
Explore mindful attention and loving-kindness with Vinod, with guided practice, discussion and optional exercises for everyday life.
Why it caught our eye
The class leaves time to talk about the practice as well as experience it, with small optional exercises to carry into everyday life.
About this experience
Make room for a little more attention and kindness in everyday life with Vinod at Jamyang. This guided class brings mindfulness, noticing the present moment, together with loving-kindness, a practice of cultivating goodwill towards yourself and others. You can join in London or take part on Zoom, including if you are new to meditation.
What you can expect
Follow guided meditation practices, then spend around 15 minutes sharing experiences and asking questions. Optional exercises offer ways to continue exploring the practice at home, at work and in daily life. Chairs and meditation cushions are provided at the centre.
Good to know before you go
Jamyang suggests a £15 donation for a single class and offers reduced contributions on request. You may also attend without booking. Choose the online or in-person option when registering; the £75 full-course ticket is a separate option.
