Jikiden Reiki Shoden: Two-Day English Course

Monika Storrer teaches the introductory Shoden course in Jikiden Reiki, a Japanese practice involving hands placed on a clothed body. The course combines the background of the method with practical exercises. It is an introduction to this practice, not medical training or a promise to treat illness.

Explore Reiki’s history, the five Gokai principles, Japanese terms, sensory-awareness exercises and practical hand placement. The course includes three Reiju sessions, the institute’s course manual, a course pass and certificates. Participation in both course days is required; they are not separately bookable sessions.

The course is taught in English, for participants over 18, with no previous Reiki knowledge required. The full fee is CHF 380; repeat participants pay CHF 200. Snacks and certificates are included; lunch is not. Register at info@matsumi.ch. Standard payment is due three weeks before the course or as invoiced; confirm payment arrangements for a late booking. Bring a notebook, pen and comfortable clothes. The practice is on the first floor at Mettlenstrasse 6b, 8472 Seuzach (Oberohringen). Course material may not be photographed or shared. Group cancellations are free up to 21 days before; charges then rise to 50% up to 10 days, 75% up to three days, and 100% later or for a no-show, subject to the replacement-participant and illness-credit terms in the organiser’s conditions. The organiser asks to be told about existing health conditions or pregnancy and states that Reiki does not replace medical or therapeutic care.
