Munay Frequency
Cacao Ceremony & Sound Journey
A 3-hour cacao ceremony with meditation, a live sound journey and time in community at a yoga studio in Bäch.
Why it caught our eye
A clearly structured ceremony with named hosts, a current ticket selector and unusually complete practical information about timing, venue, pricing and what to bring.
What you can expect
Doors open at 16:45 and the ceremony runs from 17:00 to 20:00. The group drinks ceremonial cacao from Peru, meditates and listens to singing bowls and other instruments before sharing the experience in community. Bring warm, comfortable clothes and a water bottle; you may also bring a personal object for the altar.
Good to know before you go
The event is on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at Dein Yoga Raum Bäch, Seestrasse 39B, 8806 Bäch. Standard tickets are CHF 85 including taxes and are non-cancellable; the optional CHF 96.95 Flex ticket can be cancelled until 48 hours before the event, with CHF 1.45 deducted from the refund. Online sales end at 20:00 on the event day and availability can change. The event page is in German, but the spoken language is not explicitly confirmed. The organiser’s general cacao guidance recommends fasting for three hours, drinking water and avoiding alcohol and coffee for 24 hours; it also asks pregnant people, people with high blood pressure and people taking antidepressants to make contact in advance. Ingredients, allergen handling and accessibility are not published.
What this is
Vanessa Martinez of Munay Frequency and Livio co-host an in-person cacao ceremony and sound journey. The published programme begins with the mindful drinking of raw ceremonial cacao from Peru, followed by meditation and a sound journey with singing bowls and other instruments. It is a spiritually framed group experience; no therapeutic outcome is promised.
