Kirtan with Norema Pauw and friends in Cologne
Join your voice with mantra singing, harmonium, percussion, violin and guitar at Yoga Liebe.
Why it caught our eye
The combination of two voices and harmoniums with violin, guitar and percussion gives this gathering its particular musical character. It offers a participatory way to encounter devotional singing.
About this experience
Let your voice become part of an evening of kirtan at Yoga Liebe. Norema Pauw and friends bring together mantra singing and live instruments, with room to listen, sing and explore the devotional practice of bhakti.
What you can expect
Kirtan is shared mantra singing, rooted in the practice of bhakti, or devotion. Norema Pauw and Celine sing and play harmonium, Sabrishnu brings percussion, Lotta plays violin and Martin plays guitar. The invitation is to join in the singing and experience how these voices and instruments meet.
Good to know before you go
Book through Eventbrite on a donation basis. No previous experience is needed, and children are welcome. Arrival and the beginning of the singing are separate; check the organiser’s booking page for the full timings.
