The Obstacle Is the Way: Yoga with Céline Parvati

Explore your response to obstacles through yoga, breath, mantra and meditation, with Ganesh symbolism as a thread.

Why it caught our eye

The theme takes shape through specific choices in the practice: balancing, changing direction and becoming still. It offers a concrete way to explore adaptation through movement.

About this experience

A change of direction, a moment of stillness or a limit in a posture can become something to notice. At Evolution Yoga, Céline Parvati leads a practice inspired by Ganesh, the elephant-headed figure in Indian tradition associated with beginnings and obstacles. His symbolism runs through the movement, breath and meditation.

What you can expect

The practice brings together kriya, structured yoga practices, with breathing, asana or physical postures, and moving sequences. Balance, variations and pauses invite you to observe how you respond when a movement changes or meets a limit. Mantra, the repetition of sounds or words, and meditation are woven into the session.

Good to know before you go

The workshop is open to first-time visitors and people unfamiliar with Ganesh symbolism. Booking is required and places are limited. The listed ticket price is EUR 36; check the final total when booking. Eventbrite states refunds are available up to eight days before the event. The centre provides mats, blankets and cushions.
