Tai Chi Classics with Helen Liang

Explore relaxed strength, balance and connected movement through seven live online lessons with Helen Liang.

Why it caught our eye

Returning to the same movements with a different principle in mind gives this course a clear thread, rather than a collection of unrelated exercises.

About this experience

Helen Liang invites you to explore the principles behind Tai Chi’s flowing movements. Rooting, Yin and Yang, and Song, the practice of releasing unnecessary tension while keeping support, become things to notice in your own body. The course welcomes newcomers and people who already practise.

What you can expect

Guided movement builds towards a short sequence, with standing meditation, weight shifts and whole-body coordination along the way. Each 90-minute session includes an hour of teaching and 30 minutes of questions. Recordings, transcripts, between-session exercises and an online community support practice at your own pace.

Good to know before you go

One payment is USD349; three payments of USD128 total USD384. This is one seven-session programme, with a break after the fifth meeting. Join through Zoom or use the recordings afterwards. Qualifying refund requests are accepted through 1 December 2026; scholarship purchases are excluded.
