Carmen introduces the meaning and tradition of the mala, then helps you choose gemstones and bring your own combination together. Step by step, you learn to knot a necklace that can accompany meditation or carry a meaning of your choosing. There is time for quiet, conversation and mindful making at Atelier Carmen Calabrese in St. Gallen. The invitation is to follow your own pace and creative choices, with guidance on colour, theme and composition. A manual, snacks and drinks are included in the workshop fee.

An introduction to mala traditions leads into gemstone selection and intuitive composition. Carmen guides the knotting step by step, leaving room for silence, exchange and careful work on your own necklace.

The workshop fee is CHF 128, including a manual, snacks and drinks. Materials cost extra according to what you use; the organiser gives approximately CHF 39 as a starting point, with no upper limit depending on the stones chosen.
