Morning Mysore with Ilse Bahnsen in Fribourg
Practise Ashtanga yoga at your own pace, with individual guidance from Ilse Bahnsen in a small group.
Why it caught our eye
Individual teaching within a small group lets each person work at a different pace. The flexible arrival window also makes room for a personal morning practice without requiring everyone to start together.
About this experience
Follow your breath rather than a whole-class count. In Lulo’s Mysore practice, you work through an Ashtanga yoga sequence at your own pace while Ilse Bahnsen offers individual instruction. The group shares a meditative atmosphere, with space to adapt the practice to your needs and abilities.
What you can expect
This is personal practice with a teacher, rather than a led class. Ilse helps you learn a suitable sequence gradually. Regular attendance or home practice is recommended. Arrive from half an hour before teaching starts until fifteen minutes after it begins. Ilse is available during the advertised teaching period; finish and leave within fifteen minutes of its end.
Good to know before you go
Register the evening before, by the deadline shown for your chosen date. On a first visit, contact Ilse and complete the new-student form. A single class costs CHF 35 on request; the CHF 25 discovery class is available to experienced Mysore practitioners by arrangement. Newcomers are directed to the separate three-class introduction. Enter between numbers 7 and 9 and go to the top floor; equipment is provided.
