Thursday Meditation in English in Geneva

Guided meditation and Buddhist teaching on everyday difficulties, with a different theme each week and the option to attend a single class.

Why it caught our eye

The changing themes make room for familiar, everyday concerns, while independent sessions let you try the practice without committing to the whole series.

What you can expect

Each 90-minute class includes guided meditation and practical Buddhist teaching. Paul leads the 8 October session on finding peace amid relationship difficulties. Guèn Kelsang Jikgyob is the teacher named on the series programme. Later themes include staying positive through illness, working with painful feelings, patience, resentment, anger, jealousy and criticism. You may join one class or attend regularly; the sessions are not a required course. There is no meditation class on 15 October. Chairs and floor cushions are available, and no previous meditation experience is needed.
