Online Breath Circle with Brenna Duncan
Join Brenna Duncan on Zoom for guided connected breathing, gentle movement, music and quiet time to settle, with an introduction for beginners.
Why it caught our eye
The clear introduction, unhurried relaxation and optional closing share give this online circle a thoughtful shape. Brenna makes room for different experiences, while the sliding scale offers a practical choice of ticket.
About this experience
Make a quiet corner at home and join Brenna Duncan for a small online breath circle. The evening combines gentle movement, music and conscious connected breathing, a guided practice of breathing in a continuous rhythm, followed by time to rest. Brenna offers guidance while encouraging you to follow your own pace. There is no particular experience to aim for: you might feel quiet, energised or emotional. Beginners are welcome, and the introduction explains the technique before the journey begins.
What you can expect
New participants join Zoom at 20:00 GMT for the introduction, demonstration and questions. Regular monthly participants may join at 20:15. Gentle movement and grounding breaths lead into a guided breathing journey on your mat or bed, with music, movement and sound woven in. The session ends with five to ten minutes of relaxation, optional journalling and sharing. You can also leave quietly after the practice. Keep your camera on during the breathwork journey so Brenna can support you.
Good to know before you go
For adults over 18; younger participants should email Brenna before booking. Prepare a quiet space, loose clothing, a mat or bed, pillows and a blanket. Have headphones or a speaker, water, tissues, a journal and pen nearby; an eye mask is optional. Avoid alcohol, caffeine and heavy meals beforehand. The organiser asks you to check with your doctor first for heart conditions, epilepsy or seizures, blood pressure problems with fainting, pregnancy, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis or personality disorders, severe or untreated PTSD, lung disease, recent major surgery, a stroke history, glaucoma or detached retina, or asthma. The practice is not recommended during the first trimester; have an inhaler nearby if you have asthma. Contact Brenna before booking if unsure. Standard admission is £18, with a limited £11 community rate for financial hardship and a £25 supporter rate. Tickets are described as non-refundable and non-transferable, but you may gift your place by emailing brenna@arisebreathwork.com.
