OSOMO Horizontal Concert in Zürich
Lie down and listen as Simon Baumann, performing as OSOMO, creates a live electronic soundscape at Museum für Gestaltung.
Why it caught our eye
The horizontal format changes the usual concert relationship. Attention can turn inward while electronic sound waves and analog textures unfold around the room, followed by a quiet closing stretch.
About this experience
Bring a mat and settle into an afternoon of listening at Museum für Gestaltung. OSOMO’s Horizontal Concert invites you to follow music through your own thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations, with space to move, rest or simply be still.
What you can expect
Simon Baumann performs his OSOMO solo project for a gathering limited to 84 listeners. Doors open at five in the afternoon, the music starts at a quarter past five, and silence begins at a quarter to seven before the gathering ends at seven. You can follow your own pace through the listening experience; the invitation is to notice what is present for you.
