Thursday Kadampa Meditation & Teaching in Lausanne
A standalone French-language meditation and practical Buddhist teaching, open to newcomers and experienced practitioners.
Why it caught our eye
Two guided meditations frame the teaching, making it easy to settle first and then try the idea straight away. Themes such as conflict, rumination, jealousy and patience keep the practice rooted in everyday life.
What you can expect
The session opens with a short introduction and a guided meditation to settle the mind, followed by teaching on the day’s theme and a second guided meditation. You can sit on a cushion or a chair.
Good to know before you go
No registration is needed; arrive five to ten minutes early. The standard price is CHF 20, or CHF 15 for AVS/AI recipients, students under 25 and unemployed visitors. Subscribers can also join the live stream with the centre’s monthly password. Shoes are removed at the entrance.
What this is
Kelsang Tsulma leads an approachable French-language session of Kadampa Buddhist teaching and meditation in central Lausanne. Each meeting stands on its own, exploring a practical way to work with difficult relationships, habitual reactions or the workings of the mind before bringing the theme into guided meditation.
