Beach Yoga and Dance with Kirin at Baker Beach
Join Kirin for beach yoga through headphones, a dance by the ocean and a closing rest on the sand. Beginners are welcome.
Why it caught our eye
The flow moves from guided yoga to playful dancing and then stillness, with the ocean in view throughout. The headphones bring the teaching and music close while leaving you outdoors in the beach landscape.
About this experience
Let the ocean set the backdrop for a morning of breath, movement and music with Kirin Power. This Baker Beach class combines a creative vinyasa flow, where yoga postures link with the breath, with a dance by the water and a quiet rest on the sand.
What you can expect
Put on the provided headphones to hear Kirin’s guidance and the music as you move through an accessible yoga practice. Towards the end, the group heads to the water’s edge for a dance before finishing in savasana, the resting pose. Beginners are welcome, and children can join or play nearby.
Good to know before you go
An adult ticket costs USD 35.81. Bring a beach towel or an old yoga mat and dress in layers, with a warm jacket and hat for foggy weather. Exact meeting directions arrive after registration. Book ahead as headphones are limited; confirm children’s headphone arrangements and any charge when booking. Eventbrite lists refunds up to seven days before the class.
