Sleepy Sunday Yoga Nidra & Sound Bath
A Sunday evening of guided yoga nidra, crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, gong, chimes and chai in Livingston.
Why it caught our eye
The combination of a guided settling practice, several acoustic instruments and all the main resting props being provided makes the practical setup unusually clear for a first sound bath.
What you can expect
Doors open ten minutes before the guided yoga nidra begins. You can then settle in for a sound bath played with crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, gong and chimes, followed by homemade decaf chai.
Good to know before you go
Open to beginners and ages 14+. Mats, bolsters, pillows and eye masks are provided; bring a blanket, warm layers and anything else that helps you rest comfortably. Seated participation is possible if arranged in advance. The organiser asks pregnant guests to get in touch so a supported reclined position can be prepared. Chai is made with rooibos and oat milk and is described as vegan and gluten-free. Tickets currently range from £16.96 to £22.38, sales close at the start, refunds are available up to seven days beforehand, and parking is free.
What this is
Calm AF Steph pairs a guided yoga nidra meditation with a long, restful sound bath in Livingston. Crystal and Himalayan bowls, gong and chimes shape the listening session before the evening closes with homemade chai.
