Sound bath and lavender cacao with Helena
A 1-hour Friday pause at Light Centre Monument, with lavender cacao, singing bowls, chimes and Helena’s voice.
Why it caught our eye
The combination of voice, instruments and a warm drink gives this short evening a particular character, with practical comforts already provided.
About this experience
Step out of the City’s pace for an evening of listening. Helena, who works as Virtual Sound Healer, brings her voice together with Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gong, chalices and chimes. Sound Society offers this session at Light Centre Monument, with organic lavender cacao included.
What you can expect
The session combines a sound bath, vocal and instrumental tones and meditation. Mats, pillows, blankets and mulberry silk eye masks are provided. Cups are available for the cacao; you can bring your own mug if you prefer.
Good to know before you go
The venue lists £25 and links to the exact Eventbrite booking page. The organiser asks for professional advice about medical issues involving herbs or cacao and serious allergies. It says sound baths are not recommended during certain pregnancy trimesters, without specifying which, and asks pregnant participants to seek medical advice. Before booking, it also asks you to check with your doctor about a history of brain-related conditions such as epilepsy or seizures, severe depression or metal implants.
