LAB Perú with Nicolás Apelt
Follow an eight-day journey through the Andes, with meditation, shared rituals and time at Machu Picchu. For participants who have completed EMME.
Why it caught our eye
Meditation is woven into a journey through Andean places and cultural perspectives, with time for walking, silence and shared reflection. The EMME prerequisite gives the group a common starting point.
About this experience
There is room for both exploration and reflection on this journey through the Peruvian Andes. Nicolás Apelt brings his LAB approach to a small-group retreat that weaves meditation and shared rituals into visits to Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. It is a chance to put earlier EMME learning into practice through time together in the landscape.
What you can expect
The route begins in Cusco with a visit to Qorikancha and continues through Moray, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes. Along the way, you will find guided group work, meditation, thermal baths and visits to archaeological sites. One day includes an approximately 10 km walk. The Wayna Picchu ascent is optional, depends on fitness and ticket availability, and has an alternative route. Nicolás Apelt accompanies the experience, which ends with group reflection.
Good to know before you go
Completion of EMME, the organiser's preparatory course, is required and can be done online before departure. Seven nights in shared twin rooms, breakfasts, six lunches, six dinners, a farewell dinner, internal transfers and listed entrance tickets are included. Flights, drinks and mandatory travel insurance are extra. The USD 1,000 deposit is non-refundable, with the balance due a month before departure. Early booking costs USD 2,350; the regular price is USD 2,550. Two or more people booking together receive USD 75 off per person. The group is limited to 25, and the itinerary may change. The map marks Qorikancha, a confirmed itinerary stop in Cusco, not the meeting point. The organiser arranges airport transfers for arrival on the first day and departure on the last day.
