LAB Origins: A Reflective Journey through Türkiye

The route connects archaeological sites, underground settlements and living city neighbourhoods with questions about how people organise and understand their lives. Guided reflection gives these visits a shared thread.

Explore questions of origin, symbols and community while travelling through Türkiye with Nicolás Apelt. LAB Origins brings archaeological sites, city streets and landscapes into conversation with guided group work. The journey begins in historic Istanbul, continues through Şanlıurfa and Cappadocia, and returns to the city around Galata.

The itinerary includes Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, underground cities, valleys and Istanbul’s historic neighbourhoods. Workshops, meditation, conversation and integration accompany the visits. The group travels together throughout; two booking options give you a choice between organising your own logistics and having the internal arrangements included. The itinerary may change with conditions and availability.

Completing EMME before departure is required, as is travel insurance covering the whole journey. Ruta Propia is USD 800 for the LAB activities and planning guidance; you arrange and pay for accommodation, travel, local services, entries and meals. Experiencia Integral is USD 2,600 and includes eight nights with breakfast, two internal flights, local ground transport, guides, visits and entries. International flights, airport-to-first-hotel and last-hotel-to-airport transfers, insurance, personal expenses and lunches and dinners unless specified are extra. Booking payments are non-refundable. The journey starts in Sultanahmet, Istanbul; the map marks this starting area, not a hotel or meeting point.
