The Body Lab: Nervous System Regulation
An online workshop combining accessible Polyvagal Theory with gentle movement, breath, grounding and guided rest.
Why it caught our eye
It pairs clear nervous-system education with simple embodied practices that participants can adapt to everyday life.
About this experience
The Body Place offers a two-hour online workshop for understanding how the nervous system responds to stress and overwhelm. Kryss Dutt introduces Polyvagal Theory in everyday language, then guides gentle movement, breath, grounding and rest.
What you can expect
Explore nervous-system states and protective responses through a practical introduction to Polyvagal Theory. The session includes gentle yoga and movement, breath and vagal-awareness practices, orienting, grounding, sound, sensation and Nidra-inspired rest. Participants also receive a three-page handbook.
Good to know before you go
This live online workshop is in English and costs USD 11.11. Wear comfortable clothes and have a mat or cosy resting place, water, a journal and an optional comforting object nearby. The workshop is educational wellness support, not medical or mental-health treatment and not trauma-processing therapy.
