The Spread: tarot and writing with Gillian Rodriguez

Gillian Rodriguez hosts The Spread, a live circle bringing tarot imagery into writing and community. No tarot experience is needed. The cards serve as prompts for expression and reflection, rather than claims about what will happen in your future.

You begin by writing in response to a card shared by the group, then pull a personal card to explore further. Participants read aloud in small groups and practise listening to one another. A collective prayer woven from what has emerged closes the circle. The room opens fifteen minutes early for a short introduction to the cards or time to settle in.

Choose an Open Seat to attend free. A USD 10 donation is suggested, with any amount or none welcome. Bring a tarot or oracle deck and writing materials. Cameras must be on and you need to sign into a registered Zoom account. Late entry is not allowed once the circle begins. Keep what is shared confidential. There is no recording or follow-up material. Registration closes thirty minutes before the start.
