Movement & EmbodimentClass / session·VOLTA YOGA St. Johann, Basel, Basel-Stadt

Vinyasa with Nico at St. Johann, Basel

Follow breath-led movement in this 60-minute English-language class at VOLTA YOGA’s St. Johann studio in Basel.

Why it caught our eye

The attention to transitions is a distinctive part of this practice: how you move between postures matters as much as where you arrive.

About this experience

Let the breath lead you from one yoga posture into the next with Nico Krättli at VOLTA YOGA’s St. Johann studio. This flowing Vinyasa class gives as much attention to the transitions as to the poses themselves, offering a continuous thread through the practice.

What you can expect

Expect a flowing sequence that links one posture to the next, with breathing guiding each transition. The current schedule labels the class for all levels. VOLTA YOGA describes regular Vinyasa as a more physically demanding, medium-to-fast style and recommends some yoga experience; newcomers are directed to Hatha or Slow Vinyasa.

Good to know before you go

A single 60-minute class costs CHF 25. The CHF 15 reduced rate is available to school pupils, students up to age 30, KulturLegi holders and people in difficult financial circumstances. Mats and other yoga equipment are provided. First-time visitors are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. You can book through Eversports or drop in without committing to a course.
