Intermediate Vinyasa with Nico in Basel
Explore a more involved yoga practice with Nico, linking breath and movement while leaving time for a quiet arrival, breathing exercises and a longer final rest.
Why it caught our eye
The longer format gives challenging movement a wider context, with breathing practice at the beginning and an unhurried rest at the end.
About this experience
This Vinyasa class gives an established practice room to develop. Vinyasa links postures through movement guided by the breath; here, Nico combines flowing sequences with more complex positions and transitions at VOLTA YOGA Innenstadt. The studio recommends around six months of Vinyasa experience. After a quiet arrival and pranayama, meaning guided breathing exercises, you explore elements such as headstand, arm balances and deeper forward bends and backbends. You do not need to master every position. Curiosity about a more involved practice is welcome, and the class makes time for a longer Savasana, the final lying-down rest.
What you can expect
A 90-minute class with Nico, combining breath-led sequences, more complex postures and transitions, guided breathing and a longer final rest.
