Vocal Jam: Music of the Moment
Make music together without sheet music, through Circle Singing and playful vocal exploration in Cologne.
Why it caught our eye
The music takes shape through the people in the room. Circle Singing, vocal play and attention to the body offer different ways to explore a shared sound, with all voices welcome.
About this experience
Bring your voice into a shared moment of music. Cologne Voice Collective’s Vocal Jam brings people from different backgrounds together to sing without sheet music. Julia Zipprick, founder of the collective, is the featured host for this gathering at St. Gertrud.
What you can expect
Join a 2-hour vocal gathering. Depending on the host and the group, the focus may include Circle Singing, voice and body awareness, Vocal Painting, folklore or canons. The emphasis is on creativity and making music in the present moment.
Good to know before you go
Tickets are free through Eventbrite. The collective describes a monthly gathering, while this reservation is for the single session shown here. People of all ages are welcome.
