Voice Wings: Vocal Workshop in Berlin
A day of holistic voice work combining breath, movement, improvisation, group singing and vocal meditation.
Why it caught our eye
The programme treats the voice as an embodied practice, linking breath, movement, improvisation and shared singing in one carefully structured day.
About this experience
Saskia Baumgart leads a full-day exploration of the voice as a space for expression, presence and connection. The workshop brings together holistic vocal development, body awareness, rhythm and movement, with room to listen to the voice, play with resonance and move between sound and silence.
What you can expect
Expect breathing and resonance exercises, movement and rhythm, vocal improvisation, song structures, circle songs and canons, plus sound and singing meditations. The day may also include an optional exploration of stage presence.
Good to know before you go
The workshop takes place at KlangZeitRaum in Berlin from 10:00 to 17:00, with entry from 09:45. The source lists €150 standard and €120 reduced participation fees. The programme is presented in German; the event page also provides English information.
