Voices of Freedom Retreat with Uria Tsur
Six days of voice, improvisation and communal ceremony at Landguet Ried near Bern.
Why it caught our eye
The two-part structure gives time to develop a personal voice practice before moving into a larger communal singing and ceremony gathering.
About this experience
At Landguet Ried near Bern, Uria Tsur leads six days of voice, music and communal practice. The retreat begins with a four-day exploration of authentic expression, improvisation and stage fright, then opens into an overnight Ancestral Ceremony with singing, dance, sacred fire and a deep-night music journey.
What you can expect
Expect guided voice and improvisation work, playful exercises around performance anxiety, and reflection on music’s ceremonial role. On Saturday the wider community joins for an opening ceremony, buffet, singing circle and a programme that continues through the night before brunch and integration on Sunday.
Good to know before you go
The retreat ticket costs CHF 420 at the super-early-bird rate, CHF 470 early bird or CHF 520 regular. Five nights’ accommodation with brunch and dinner is required and booked separately: CHF 355 for camping, CHF 395 for a dormitory or CHF 500–830 for rooms.
